Orlando J. Castaño, Jr., is a practicing attorney with 24 years of experience. His emphasis has been Sports & Entertainment Law, as well as Civil and Business Litigation. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 1988, where he was on the Dean’s List from 1986-88. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in 1992 and admitted to the California State Bar and the United States District Court that same year. In addition, he passed the Georgia State Bar in 1998. Since 1997 he has been a sole practitioner and has obtained jury verdicts in excess of $45 Million, and has obtained over $30 Million in settlements for his clients.

Mr. Castaño has been very active in the sports and entertainment industry having started working in Legal Affairs of the Motion Picture Features Division for Paramount Studios. He then became in house counsel for Jeff Hamilton Industries, responsible for negotiation of licensee agreements with major properties such as Reebok, Nike, Coca-Cola, NASCAR, NFL, NBA, MLS, NHL and Collegiate Licensing. In 2000, he represented 2000 USGA Mid-Amateur Champion Greg Puga at Augusta National. Mr. Castaño is also in-house counsel for baseball agency Elite Sports Team Agency.
Mr. Castaño enjoys snowboarding, playing basketball and international travel. Fluent in Spanish and conversational French, he currently resides in Newport Beach, CA, with his wife Andrea and son Orlando III & daughter Raphaelle Elisa.
